This week we discussed the period between the end of Han and the beginning of the Sui which has many different people gaining and losing power. We also discussed Buddhism, which became a new system of belief during this time. Buddhism contains the Four Nobel Truths, which are that life is suffering, there is a cause to the suffering, there is an end to the suffering, and there exists a path leading to the end of the suffering. This is just one of the many aspects of Buddhism.
